I Don't Know How, but I Did

Hope raged this afternoon. She threw furniture, kicked, hit, bit, scratched and screeched. It went on forever. The Dad came home and we got some PRN medication into her. It hasn't knocked her out (it should have) and she is sitting on her bed singing happily. I don't know how I contained her or kept her contained. I am a mass of scratches and bruises and I hurt all over. Hope doesn't weigh 46 pounds yet. I think it is time to muster up some outside reinforcements.

Ever notice how close RAD and RAGE are, alphabetically?

I'm so sorry. E was just weighed today and he's 44.5 lbs. It's getting harder to contain him. I have his older brothers to help when they're home. I hope you find someone!

Sorry for the rough time today. :-( The good news is that God will give you more strength as she gets bigger and, hopefully, the rages will become less intense as she heals. Our little one started at 33 lbs. of pure adrenaline and she is almost 70 lbs. now and I can still contain her because she doesn't have the pure rage anymore. She has some degree of self control, even when she's out of control. I don't know if that makes sense or not.

Praying for you tonight.

Good Grief. I saw a quote yesterday that made me laugh and I know that many people would understand, but it sure did make a LOT of good sense to me.....

"It takes a village to keep a special needs parent from jumping off the roof." -Christine Moer

THAT is the truth!! There is only so much we can do, then we need help. I will being praying about help.

Blessings!!
