Trolls

Not all trolls post comments. I have several trolls that send nastygrams, disguised as emails. I cut back on my posting while trying to figure out what to do with my private trolls. None of them are interested in dialogue. All of them make judgements, projecting me into their life experiences. Some of them seem to be good people who are in a hard place. Some of them are bitter and angry at everybody. None of them know me. Most of them don't even want to know me.

It took me over a week, but I have decided how I want to deal with them. I have a spam filter of my email, and I added my trolls sending addresses to my list of spam. Since I never go rooting through my spam folder, in thirty days, when it automatically empties, my trolls will be gone. Best of all, I will never even know they have been here.

Good for you. Sometimes (like our children) angry, hurt people just have to find someone to blame life on. I have known hurt and unfair judgment and grief and I would never go deliberately say things to someone I didn't agree with to be hurtful. That's just not me. And I know that's not you. I'm sorry that others can't "play nice."

I agree. I'm sorry you are going through this, my friend. I had to do this to someone once (not a blog follower), and it was a good decision. So is yours. (((hugs))) and prayers for your family.

Good going because life is hard enough without things like hate mail.

I find it very interesting that the big topic lately is bullying yet so many so-called adults do just that.

Why on earth would people troll you? Nuts. Just nuts. Zap'em!

I just found your blog, and already want to find these trolls and give them a knock upside the head. I got my first troll remark yesterday when I had a woman tell me that by adopting I was dealing in human trafficking. Amazing. Keep fighting the good fight and remember, DFTT (don't feed the trolls).
