I hope you won't ask me royalties for having used your expression "big girl therapeutic panties" because this is exactly the situation I am in with... my dad. Reading you gives me the courage to continue with my dad (he fits in all the criteria for ADHD, but at my difference, he chose to self medicate his symptoms. I have to set up firm boundaries despite being sometimes called "the nasty").
